康療養生瑜伽序列 Wellbeing Yoga Program
我們鼓勵學員去練習 "以人為本的瑜伽",而非以體位法為本的瑜伽。透過有意識的呼吸調息來幫助身體以漸近、和緩的節奏結合體式法來開發身體的潛能,喚醒身心的感受與連結,讓緊繃不適的部位獲得舒展與放鬆,達到養生保健的效果。
陰的練習著重在坐姿與躺姿為主的伸展和長時間的停留,來延展結締組織,放鬆肌肉,喚醒覺知。並透過呼吸意識調節身心內在能量,為陽性練習創造空間,為靜心冥想的序曲。
陽的練習,結合了串連與流暢性,配合調息增加肌耐力,鍛鍊心志與專注力。

We encourage our students to practice human-centered yoga rather than posture-centered yoga. By integrating mindful breathing with gentle, progressive movements, we help the body unlock its potential, awaken the connection between mind and body, and release tension in areas of discomfort. This approach promotes relaxation, enhances flexibility, and supports overall well-being.
The Yin practice focuses on seated and reclining stretches, with prolonged holds that target connective tissues, relax muscles, and enhance body awareness. Through breath awareness, it helps regulate inner energy, creating space for Yang practice and serving as a prelude to meditation.
The Yang practice incorporates fluid, continuous movements synchronised with breath, improving muscular endurance, strengthening the mind, and enhancing focus.

The WYP Senior Care yoga program offers simple, easy-to-learn, and safe practices designed to help participants improve muscle strength and flexibility, maintain optimal physical condition, and achieve overall health.
Yoga provides numerous benefits for seniors, including improved spinal health and better posture.
As the body loses muscle support, posture and alignment may become distorted. This program helps maintain a healthy posture, reducing the risk of back pain.
Chronic tension in the shoulders and neck not only affects breathing and emotions but can also lead to fatigue. The exercises in this program promote better circulation, help relax the nervous system, and restore vitality to the legs—reducing swelling and alleviating joint discomfort caused by poor circulation. By relieving stress and enhancing muscle relaxation, this program prepares both the body and mind for a graceful ageing process.
